Missing alerts from O365 Outlook Calendar for iOS

Please verify that all of these settings are accurate and match the below to receive a visual and audible notification for Outlook scheduled meetings

1. Make sure your phone's settings are accurate

  • Side toggle should be in the "up" position

  • The Control Center settings should look like this:
    • Airplane mode is disabled
    • Do not Disturb is disabled [Half Moon icon]
    • Volume is set to high

2. O365 Outlook is set to display notifications properly

  • Go to your phones settings and select Notifications

  • Find Outlook in the list of apps

  • The settings should look like this:
    • All three (3) notification types should be active
    • Both Sounds and Badges should be toggled on
    • Show previews should be set to Always
      • If you have sensitive information in meeting info fields often, you can set this to only display when your device is unlocked

 

3. Make sure your O365 Outlook settings are accurate

  • Open the O365 Outlook app downloaded from the Intune Company Portal by Microsoft

  • Access the settings by dragging your finger from the left side of the screen to the center, pulling out the side panel and select the settings cog at the bottom left of the panel

  • Find the Calendar sub-header, select Notifications

  • The settings should look something like this:
    • Set your desired notification interval
    • Enable the notifications toggle
    • Set your desired notification sound
      • Your current alert may not be loud enough, try changing the sound to something louder or more noticeable
