Activate or Reactivate Microsoft Office or Windows

If you receive this type of message in Microsoft Office, this is probably due to not being connected to the ADS network is some time.

To re-activate, close all instances of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, etc)

Connect to VPN.

Go to Start, where it says “Search programs and files”, type in gpupdate /force

Once this box goes away, open any Microsoft Office application and go to File > Help and see if it is activated (see below)

If it still says it is not activated, let us know and we can look into this further.

Go to Start, where it says “Search programs and files”, type in gpupdate /force

Once this box goes away, go to Start > right click on your LAPTOP number, and click Properties. Scroll to the bottom of the page and you should see a something similar to this:
